Our story

A foundation in development

Eternal Worlds is being created to preserve, restore and sustain digital gaming worlds and their communities. The work begins with a simple concern: communities should not lose their history or their home solely because commercial support ends.

Eternal War, an associated PlanetSide 2 preservation effort, and a proposed BYOND community hosting use case help explain the mission. They do not establish hosting agreements, rights-holder permissions, partnerships or a record of completed restorations.

As the foundation develops, its technical work, decisions and confirmed milestones can be documented here. No founding date, team roster or operational history has been supplied for publication.
