Intellectual Property and Preservation

Permissions and redistribution
Respect developers, artists and rights holders. Record permission evidence and redistribution limits. Preserve metadata and documentation when material cannot be distributed lawfully. Provide attribution where required.
Disputes and takedowns
A designated rights-contact channel, verification procedure, preservation of relevant evidence and a lawful material-removal process must be approved before distributing archival files. Disputed material should be withheld pending review. This draft is not legal advice.
